Booty Call!

We have a huge variety of people in the group, Lucky Chair Stalkers, so I see lots of Lucky Chairs and Midnight Manias.  Julya Lykin, one of our lovers of the sexy look, hollered about the Midnight Manias at Crave.  Crave is the place that goes absolutely nuts at the holidays with their lucky chair full of sex candy holiday outfits.  I had not been there for ages so I had to go peek and I was like "OOO" at the latex.  Not what I would wear to shop FLF or a DU event but there are certain times when latex has it's special uses.

I just need to yack for a quick minute before I get to photos (which you are probably looking at anyways).  I hope to blog this (when I can actually find time to hunt) but there is a sweet little hunt called The Starry Night Hunt at the Lucid sim.  It is only for one week and started on Friday so you might want to go there before you forget.  Lots of the free Grand Opening gifts are also still available.  Several independent creators have made special items for the hunt that are either 0 or 1 Linden.  This sexy shape below is one of the hunt items and is at (census) for only 1 L.

Yes, it's Achariya again, surfacing for Halloween! So many awesome things abound this month that I have to share them! My outfit is entirely made up of free items and group gifts and hunt items.

Spring Bazaar

More Kuri Style

I always get excited when Kuri*Style makes new clothing and sets one color for super cheap for a limited time.  The two new outfits are darling additions to your wardrobe.  Also, unless you live under a rock or have your head in the clouds (like I usually do), you probably know that Belleza has dropped their join fee at the moment.  I don't know how long this will last but it is a great group for both male and female skins, so consider it if you can make the group space.  There are no gifts in the archives but if you go to the store you will find gifts for both genders.

I know Winter will probably snarl like a goodun when he reads this......but I've been reading the Twilight saga. I just watched the movie too, but I was dissatisfied with that, it wasn't meaty enough (pardon the pun :P) Having finished the last book, I had an image in my mind of how Bella would look once she was a vampire, then my Ghani from Blueblood dropped her latest group gift on me.



It's called Death Princess, apt no? The black version shown here is the group gift, and there are loads of colours stuffed into the lucky boards at the main store.



I haven't had a chance to wear my amazing vampire skin from Den-Dou yet, but I thought this was the perfect moment. Do I look like I could lure you close enough to get a nibble at your neck? This is one of 3 versions you get, they get bloodier as you go along.



The hat hair is fucking incredible. I saw it here, and only logged in to get it, then promptly logged out again :P It's not free, but it is gorgeous, in fact the whole of Rozoregalia is well worth a look. Ash Out.

U-Neek got me Nakie!

U-Neek is just that, a unique store.

Recently they had to make a really big move, and there has been some updating of older products. If you want something different, this is the place to be.

Treebee Withnail has a very refreshing vision with her products, she also happens to be very VERY generous. She has had to move due to the Ebil takeover of her previous location, and the demon landloard from hell wanted to charge her even more for her plot. Sadly due to the move, she didn't have her subscriber backed up(it was new) so she lost all her subscribers. If you were on her list, go click it again! If you were not, she set out each of the subscriber gifts out, so everyone can enjoy them.

There are Midnight manias galore, lucky chairs galore, a wall of gifts and cheapies, and better yet, there is a hunt! or actually sort of like 2 hunts! She has a star one for clothing and stuffs, and a duck one for skins. Today I'm going to show you some of the skins.



So there are 10 skins in the duck hunt. U-neek products are a bit different, so maybe not to everyones tastes. There is always a play of colour.



Full on body tatted skins are hard to find, specially in goth tones. So here you go, tribe yourself out.



Surpisingly enough, this was one of my favorites. I tend to shy away from anything pink, but I do so love oriental designs.



This skin deserved an on the location shoot. I did attempt to find places for them all, but it's hard to find well made sims, that allow nudity, and where you aren't getting chased with dude and their floppy wangs.



This was my fav skin out of them all, it's all cyber spacey.

Rarurick Ragu, owner and designer of :WhoNose:, just keeps getting better. She now has two shops, one in the Baby Monkey Mall and another at LVS Drive.  You can find these outfits at either shop.  Her designs are beautifully sculpted and rich in detail.  Many come with shoes or jewelry and the most expensive dress in her shop is only 80L.  There are so many great deals here I couldn't cover them all.  Besides being very generous, she is definitely a designer to follow.  

The Shine Dress in Silver is only 5L.  The texture and design are fabulous. The jewelry is the Memories Set at Deco (one of my total favs) at the Vagabonds location.  The earrings are only 1 L thru Friday (SLT) and the necklace is half price.  Check out the Maraschino set right next to it for the same pricing.  

The dress above is on of many dresses available in her Lucky Board.  She spares no expense in quality on the items you can get on the board.  The cute Robokun bracelet and ring are a group gift at *mocorin*. Check out the other cute cheapies on the wall.  This is an adorable shop.  The Zelda hat is one of many you can find for only 10L at Split Pea.  Melatonin Hax is celebrating the first anniversary of her store.  All hats with even a tiny bit of green are only 10L.  All sunglasses are also priced at 10L.  Look at the shop sign for a 1L princess hat.

The Lavender Summer dress is only 5L The candy flats are from Scribble (not free but darn cute). Again I am wearing the Memories set from Deco.  

The Jewel Doll dress is an example of a full price dress at :WhoNose:.  It comes with cute matching flats and shoulder jewels.  It is available in a nice array of candy colors.  I am in love with bags lately and the Robo & Moco bag from *mocorin* is at the top of the cute list.  The designer and owner, akinko Twine, is so nice and flipped the board to a wildcard so that I could get it.  She also showed me that you can camp for the cute shoes at the front of her shop by sitting on an egg.  I will definitely have to go back and do that.  The sunglasses are from Split Pea, one of many for 10L.  (I bought them all...cough)

No Hair for the Hair Designer

HEY! It's me, Helena. Helena Stringer. I'm relatively new here. This is my 6th post. I'm just going to talk a bit more about what I do here on Free*Style, and what I do in sl. You may not care, so those of you that don't, just zippity on down to the bottom. For those of you who asked inworld, I'll explain some things here.

Today I wear no hair in my post. This may shock some of you girls, but when you get back up off the floor I'll let you know why.

I happen to design hair in sl. That's what I do, among designing many other things. That's not why I'm here on Free*Style, to pimp out my wears. I'm here cause I've been a fan for a long time, and someone took a chance on my abilities to make a post, make it fun and exciting. Also the fact I'm a cheap ass, and love my deals. Some things don't change.

But just because I'm here, doesn't mean I'm going to change my business ethics. I've been asked alot recently by Free*Style blog fans in sl(there is a comment box here you know!) why I don't credit everything I wear. Well that's because I wear my own items that I have made, along with all my finds. And for the fact that I'm first and foremost a Hair designer, I ALWAYS wear my own hair. I do this for business reason, not that I don't enjoy other hair. I just find it really bad taste to wear my hair designer tag, and have someone want what I got on, and it not be mine. Plus I'm proud of my designs.

So when I don't credit something, it's simply because I made it. You guys are more then free to ask about any of that stuff in the Comments of the posts. I just don't want you guys thinking I'm turning Free*Style into my own personal shopping channel to my store. This will be the last time I mention any of this. From now on my posts will link back to this one at the bottom, so any new person can find out the reasons why those items are not credited.

I really just don't want to be bald all the time, you know?

I've had Alpha and her many alt enjoy my works for so long, I had AlterEgoTrip give me the landmark to Alpha's store, Alpha Tribe(fitting for all those alts!).

Now this girl, she is what NPIRL(not possible in real life) is all about. The imagination that goes into each piece is beyond a level most designers have achieved.



Each work is an art piece, walkable art.

I had to do a close up cause this just struck me. This was built for a custom instillation at the new sim Poetik. It's nifty cause you can wear it an pose with all the manikins there.

Both of these have male versions as well, so guys, you can have some fun too!

She has some sets for sale, but the cool thing is for most of them you can just grab the skin for L$1.

They have a futuristic tribal quality, which I feel goes with the store name so well.

Each skin set has it's own unique style.

There are even a few with Male version included.

Ssshhh, spot the green!!

As I've mentioned before on the blog, if you're a hard core RP type, finding "your look" can be terribly hard on a budget. Recently there have been some incredible packs floating round the grid, covering all sorts of looks/avatars. So today it's the turn of the vampire. Fitting as one of the terribly good looking undead has joined our ranks :P



Lunas Boutique is a store I've blogged a few times, discovered through Fashcon around the New year. Do a search for the LL group, there are some super cool gifts in the archives. Including a pose hud stuffed full of poses, total must have. But these outfits are what I'm stoked about, a gift from Candy Shop (in the Lunas Boutique group archives). They are complete vampire avs, including skins (not shown) shapes, teeth, emote hud and all the clothes shown. So many options and stunning pieces, to say I'm blown away is an understatement! Skins! The skins worn with the red outfit are from the Imagen hunt. You're looking for 20 teeny shamrocks, and you'll get 19 skins and some eyes. If anyone needs a hand, drop me a line inworld and I'll be happy to help. None are hidden in walls or anything like that, lets just say that sometimes the most obvious hiding places are the hardest to find :P The skin worn with the black outfit is a gorgeous dollarbie from Domestic V. I had to sneak a wee bit of green in here!! This beauty is a group gift from Fairytails. You'll need your group tag activated, then snag this for an L. The skin I'm wearing here, and for the rest of the post are part of the Rockberry gift for the most random hunt ever. I love love love them!





I saw a small post about this store on the Freebie Telegraph, and had to go have a nose for myself. Nah! is a new to me store, and all these outfits are free from there, unbelievable! The brown dress also comes with super cute cowboy boots, not sure if you can see them too well. I can't wait till the store is fully stocked so I can go spend, as at the moment, everything is free. Now I'm off to try and give mini Ash a bath, hard at the best of times, but the little princess is sick, so I anticipate much sadness! Ash Out.

It's like my favvy sl colour. I really don't get to wear it in rl, never find the right shade. Plus in here I get to be green. Literally! So Fricka was in the shop buying up a wack of hair, and I was all like oh ya, I hadn't been to her shop in a bit. So I dragged one of my store models, Ruina Kessel(Also owner of House of Ruin) over to {Frick}. There we found some new goodies. This Green goddess of a skin was down stairs, as well as the lucky chair! And low and behold my letter came up! I'm always super excited when that happens, cause honestly we designers like never get out. We are hermits. We need showers most days, at least 2 dunkings.

Nyla Cheeky of House of Nyla gave me an outfit the other day. It so went with the {Frick} skin, I just had to show you.

This made me go to the store, see if she had any goodies. There is one, for both men and women. I remembered I mentioned Ducks in my first post, so I laughed when I found these duck feet looking for a slurl.

Here are the Lucky Chair Beauties. I only realised at the last pic that I had lost my lashes due to the hat. Oops.
Now I really didn't want to go too holiday crazy, but this giftpack warranted Free*Style bloggage.
All this is in it, and it's free! Can't beat that! Well you can but it could get messy.

I saw these eyes in the Free*Style Flickr group and was like OOOOOOO. MINE! The only thing that sucks is if your hunting on your own. That's cause it's not a regular hunt. It's a lucky letter hunt, so bring peeps to get the items rolling.

Lastly for the love of all things Duh! That's the store name I swear! Renee is awesome. We have seen shoe kits go out there, and people do nothing with them. They just make them up and slap them out. Well Renee, she actually adds things, and like makes different colours, ooo and here is a new concept, she like places different types of textures on them. OMG! Like I can feel the air going to my head. So ya head on over to Duh! you'll find something, and spend next to nothing, she gives awesome gifts, has a lucky chair, does hunts. First up Vinly Cafe has set a new freebie - Gucci Style Leather Boots two pairs in Blueberry & Emerald these shinny textured boots make you feel on top, fierce & ready to stick someone in the eye with your stiletto heel to who ever is trying to take the last pair of skinny jeans on the rack towards the back of the store when you clearly saw it 1st! lol sorry random moment xD any who, these are available for a limited time only so get them while you can.


Second runner up, The Dominion Fashion District always has something for you to snatch up (are Vinyl & Dominion related? lol) they put out these adorable, sexy Manolo Blahnik inspired in two tone pink - slingback heels with a sculpted orchid to give it that soft touch. Great for Spring / Easter or even yet for the beginning of Summer (ugh I cant wait!)


They also released booties - ankle high, black suede and patent leather ankle boots. I think they'll look good in skinny jeans if you ask me (since i don't think they look so good on me with a dress, but i tried.) You can get these exact same pair of shoes in RED at the Vinyl Cafe.
