Booty Call!

We have a huge variety of people in the group, Lucky Chair Stalkers, so I see lots of Lucky Chairs and Midnight Manias.  Julya Lykin, one of our lovers of the sexy look, hollered about the Midnight Manias at Crave.  Crave is the place that goes absolutely nuts at the holidays with their lucky chair full of sex candy holiday outfits.  I had not been there for ages so I had to go peek and I was like "OOO" at the latex.  Not what I would wear to shop FLF or a DU event but there are certain times when latex has it's special uses.

I just need to yack for a quick minute before I get to photos (which you are probably looking at anyways).  I hope to blog this (when I can actually find time to hunt) but there is a sweet little hunt called The Starry Night Hunt at the Lucid sim.  It is only for one week and started on Friday so you might want to go there before you forget.  Lots of the free Grand Opening gifts are also still available.  Several independent creators have made special items for the hunt that are either 0 or 1 Linden.  This sexy shape below is one of the hunt items and is at (census) for only 1 L.

Beauty: Korea's Purederm Products at Watsons

I wasn't expecting for this day to be so hectic, even when I am working from home - stress piles up like a haystack! I am sure you experience this too. With not enough time to de-stress, I remembered I hoarded some products at Watsons which is my favorite one stop beauty store.

Incidentally, all the products I got were from Purederm just because their stuff looks Korean and so easy to use but are effective as well. Is this the best-kept beauty secret of Koreans? Hmmm...



For any pair of hands and fingers who've been typing/mousing all day (or harvesting in Farmville for some people) this Deep Moisture Hand Mask is for you. One pack of this contains two masks for your left and right hand. Just wear the masks on your hands, wear vinyl gloves (the type doctors use, I get mine from Watsons), then remove everything after 30 minutes.

The orange circles you see are eye masks and I've been using them since college. You pop them on the fridge and just peel two circles from the bunch, put on your eyes, relax, then throw the used pads away. Eyeloveit.

Purederm's facial masks are one of my favorite things, I like their whitening pearl masks but I wanted to try this for a change.



Lavander Collagen Mask which provides intensive hydration while the Lavender is a soothing antiseptic (perfect for problematic skin like mine). Unlike other masks, Purederm's always use natural pulp sheet which adheres to the face better. The cut outs are too cool!



I still have BB Cream phobia (because I broke out after trying 2 brands of BB creams) yet I thought I might try Purederm's. Will let you know how it goes when I've used it :)

I'm Dying for Some Candy

Exodi has A Quest for Flesh hunt beginning on Friday (SLT), the 16th for amazing skin and eyes.  On this hunt you are searching for randomly rezzing packages of candy.  If you are the first to touch the item the gift is yours.  Some of the candy will contain a gift of skin or eyes and some will be...boxes of candy.  You will know when the item you found is or isn't a prize; you will know as soon as your inventory recieves the item.  Each prize (candy or an Exodi gift) are in the same package, so if you find a Twix, for example, you don't need to pick up another Twix.  Save it for another hunter, please.  All eyes worn in this post are also from the Exodi Quest.

The skins are special versions of Ryker Beck's Lily and Nazareth lines.  I did not find all the items during my time hunting but it appears that there are corresponding skins for men and women.  The skin above is called "Sometime, Dead is Better" and it has amazing cracked and rotting flesh on both sides.

The orange skin is called "Burn Victim" and is beautifully detailed.  Hair in the top 2 pictures is Demon from Darker Side, which I picked up for 1 L about a month ago.  I don't know if it is still 1 L.

Fairy Fantasy

I really was inspired by these outfits to do an on-the-location shoot, so that's what I did today!

elDee is one of 2 really girly places I'll actually drop cash on. There is always a bunch of bright fun, colours and patterns. Plus a real fsahionista, not matter what her chosen lifestyle in sl, can make ANYTHING work. As you see here. I went with the theme of the dress, and built up the outfit from there. I just happened to have these skins passed on to me by the lovely Daarc, owner of ElfPyre. These skins will be out soon, and though not free, I'll keep you informed anyways!

Glasz DeCuir sent me a folder way back in the beginning of april. It was of a pink outfit. I said I'd get to it, then to my horror I opened it to discover it was pink! Was it meant for Suri? Well I sadly didn't get to it. *Shudders* Well Glasz sent me a new item, to redeem my honour as a FreeStylist. This purple outfit so goes with my new found love of purple! I know purple is in the same family as pink blablablab. WHATEVER! You don't get along with your whole family do you?

The wings I found on XStreet. There was a set for L$3 and then I found a whole fatpack of them for L$45, that's like L$6 per wing, not bad, and they are lovely.

Under the Sea

I have always felt that the mercritters of sl don't get enough play. They don't have enough places to go, tho it has gotten better since the time I first rezzed. There isn't enough items that they can start with, that aren't a fortune.

Well today I'm going to show you what I found on my search!

Ruina Kessel of House of Ruin let my use her new store build for these pics. The new store isn't open yet(neener neener), but in the meantime you can go and join her subscribo and grab some great freebies.

What does she have there, at this magical undersea store? EYES! Some people collect skins, some shoes, some just anything in a certain colour. Me, I collect eyes. I don't even want to tell you how much I have spent on eyes. So the above pic, you get those. But not just those, the whole darn set! and there are 2 other sets too.

This was my fav find of all. When I saw the ad I was sort of iffy. Didn't know how great those primmed parts would work. Well this thing is great, with the ao, it just swishes so nicely. It's also GREEN! The starfish are also really rad, if your not wanting your mer nips all out there for the mer boys to oggle.

The Green set is the only reason why I'm wearing pink again. It totally make me happy enough to forget I'm in this horrid colour. At least I look like I'm going to eat the next diver I see. The redeeming part of this is I like the scale transition to human skin. nifty feature. There is a blue Merman Tail sitting with this one too, so get you man all dressed up, mer role play, ooooo.

I'm in love with the tail on the left. Sad thing is I had already taken all these great photos, to find out that the owner is changing locations. So you'll have to wait a wee bit to get this one.

The goldfish one I thought I'd play up, she looks like she just won a fight with a Betta.

Found this Snarfblat in a mini hunt, It's one of those ongoing type things. The owner of the parcel just wants you to have a bit of fun. Little treasures all about. There is a poster up near the shop to find out what you have to do.

I loved the sparkliness of this tail. I normally don't go for that sort of stuff, but I'm a mercritter now, so sparkles are a must.

The eyes look like they are from the depths of the deepest hole at the bottom of the ocean. Perfect for getting your mer on.

Now it can't be all fun and games. There are still predators in the water.

These I got when I first found Grendel's. I had to purchase them. But they are now all only L$1. So you lucky people get them for almost nothing.

They have a really unique ao. Sort of slithery.

They come with everything, skin, eyes, shape, ao plus fishy bits. I'm wearing my own shape tho.

This was suppose to be red. NOT PINK! or salmon, whatever. It's so not red. But there are lost of colours and guy versions too. Same as the shark, there is one for the dudes.

It's like my favvy sl colour. I really don't get to wear it in rl, never find the right shade. Plus in here I get to be green. Literally! So Fricka was in the shop buying up a wack of hair, and I was all like oh ya, I hadn't been to her shop in a bit. So I dragged one of my store models, Ruina Kessel(Also owner of House of Ruin) over to {Frick}. There we found some new goodies. This Green goddess of a skin was down stairs, as well as the lucky chair! And low and behold my letter came up! I'm always super excited when that happens, cause honestly we designers like never get out. We are hermits. We need showers most days, at least 2 dunkings.

Nyla Cheeky of House of Nyla gave me an outfit the other day. It so went with the {Frick} skin, I just had to show you.

This made me go to the store, see if she had any goodies. There is one, for both men and women. I remembered I mentioned Ducks in my first post, so I laughed when I found these duck feet looking for a slurl.

Here are the Lucky Chair Beauties. I only realised at the last pic that I had lost my lashes due to the hat. Oops.
Now I really didn't want to go too holiday crazy, but this giftpack warranted Free*Style bloggage.
All this is in it, and it's free! Can't beat that! Well you can but it could get messy.

I saw these eyes in the Free*Style Flickr group and was like OOOOOOO. MINE! The only thing that sucks is if your hunting on your own. That's cause it's not a regular hunt. It's a lucky letter hunt, so bring peeps to get the items rolling.

Lastly for the love of all things Duh! That's the store name I swear! Renee is awesome. We have seen shoe kits go out there, and people do nothing with them. They just make them up and slap them out. Well Renee, she actually adds things, and like makes different colours, ooo and here is a new concept, she like places different types of textures on them. OMG! Like I can feel the air going to my head. So ya head on over to Duh! you'll find something, and spend next to nothing, she gives awesome gifts, has a lucky chair, does hunts. Shoe lovers dream designer. So off with you now, hump her leg a bit!

Pink has been getting some play on the fashion feeds lately. This is after Valentines, so what gives?For this story, I will leave names out.

Well a fellow Canadian(I AM CANADIAN-one of our beer slogans) blogged about Anti Bully Day, which is a day in Canada where schools had started a program to show support on bringing down "bully" behavior.

It's sort of funny that this one blog post could start a war of sorts, and the soldiers being a battalion of Pink clad SL avi's. So I don the horrid colour to do my part. We all say things that aren't so nice some days, things that could be taken wrong, if you don't know the person well enough. Have some taste, don't start wars on a feed, plurk, flickr, twitter, blablabla, cause more often then not, it comes back at you like tenfold.

I also happen to believe only REAL men can pull off pink, it shouldn't matter what their preference of a partner is.

So be kind. Rewind.

So I at least managed to punk out while I was in this dastardly colour. People were all over it.

I soooooooo did not want to have to buy pink, or take time to look for pink, so I did a wee bit of cheating, and shopped a bit on XStreet. This was a Sweeter Then Candy gift for Vday that's still up. I think it was blogged, but for all you who missed it, go get er!

This I think our Suri might have blogged this in the past, but doesn't hurt to take a quick pic. I love the train on it, even if it's pink.

I wear in al these a rather normal but well made skin, and even managed to score some pink eyes for ya! The lashes come on the skin, so no prim torture necessary.

And what would a Free*Style post be without some Pink shoes? I think I found the most fugly ones I could.

Well I hope you all enjoyed my self induced torture, it might be hard not to get bullied now though, all you pink lovers probably want to chop off my head. If only to get the hair!
