Longchamp Apparitions

I haven’t got around buying a new bag for 2011 yet. My Santa at home has been pushing me to get one so I could already stop talking about it.



I was decided to get a Longchamp Metallic in brown until I saw they were being given away for free by this credit card company. It made me feel the same way when this pizza joint also raffled off luxury bags, and then this facial centre too.

But more than it’s prestigious brand, Longchamp is the perfect companion for moms like me who want to fit the entire house in a purse. Evidence, I took Ashton (my son) this morning to The Medical City’s Pedia ER and I spotted not one but at least three Longchamp moms.

A lot of us where waiting, lots of babies ended with coughs because of New Year’s fireworks – not cool. I used my time wisely by choosing a good color and realized that a plain Le Pliage would be nice. If I just know how to work these Online Casino in my favor, I’d have all colors by now.



That, or this Eiffel Tower Longchamp Limited Edition. It actually made an apparition at the World Trade Bazaar last December, but I was wearing my thrifty hat then. I think it was around 8,000 pesos. If ever, this should be bestfriends with my Eiffel Tower notebook.

It could bring me luck in planning my trips this year, and insert other great excuses to buy another bag here.

This used to be an extension of Toys R' Us at Robinsons Galleria. Zoom in and you'll see it has become a "secret" nook of interesting stuff on sale.

Coolest bag I ever saw. Belt bag/pouch perfect for shopping in bazaars or Divisoria this Christmas season! I am also planning to garage sale lots of items at home. This will be very handy dandy and super cute too :)



These looks like a bunch of cellphone holders from afar. But these pouches can be attached to your arms just like Lara Croft's gadgets.



Cool diba? I remember one mom in St. Paul Pasig wearing this as she picked up her kids. It looked great on with a black sleeveless top. Lara Croft and Resident Evil style!

Fashion: A Lesson on Nine West Bags

Ever since I saw this Nine West bag in one of their shops, I could not stop thinking about it. I've worn Nine West for as long as I can remember. They are durable, stylish, and not that high end. I've no problems matching it with my outfits, taking it to the bus with me, or partying with it.

I even received a comment saying I am wearing the same bag in every picture. It's because I prefer quality over quantity, and I am not filthy rich unless I win in the online casino.


Element 9 Bags

My sister and I have been searching for a Nine West bag that looks like their classic Element 9. What I saw in their shop recently was another classic design called Central Time. Both designs look very similar but the attendant taught me that these classic pieces are not always available. It's as if they are teasing the market and only release them every now and then.


I have another Nine West bag which is definitely not a classic but is also easy to wear anywhere. I've been using it almost everyday since I got it in Melbourne. Now it is damaged.

The attendant could have felt I wanted to get it so much and I looked like a beggar, haha. She told me they have lay-aways too! Lay away means you pay for the bag in installments and they can keep it for you. When you've completed your payments then you and your bag can live happily ever after :) Good because you get to "reserve" or get "security" on the bag especially when stocks are limited.

Chain Bag

I've seen lots of people wearing chain bags or bags with chain straps. Everyone looks inspired by Chanel but not all of us can afford it (sad). What's great with chain bags is how they double as an accessory, chains could either be gold, silver, black or combination like what I have here.



It's a combination of small silver and black chains, feels classy without going overboard. My outfit today was simple and I had to think of accessibility for breastfeeding purposes. Then I thought of how supermodel moms don loose polo shirts and look great in them. I wish I did but I tried my best here :)



The chain bag pulls the outfit up one note from plain simple to classy. Still, I am wearing my new pair of flats from Parisian. I tried to look for more shoes today at the mall to drown in but today is not my feet's lucky day.

Cory Aquino Bag by Rajo Laurel Launched

At the Eastwood City Mall, the spirit of former President Cory Aquino lived on at the launch of the latest Rajo Laurel Eco Bag. Inspired by the late president, the eco bag not only supports the environment but also the livelihood of families in Payatas.

The nanays of Payatas are not new to us, they have been weaving and sewing stylish bags with the help of designers through Rags2Riches. Yet this time, the Cory Aquino Eco Bags are already sold out even before the launch. According to Rajo, it seems that the Cory Aquino eco bag has reached the level of an Hermes Birkin. The eco bag is now on a waiting list system, one has to call to reserve through Eastwood City Mall to own one.



The bag could not get any more simple, like President Cory Aquino - the bag is humble, simple, and not attention-seeking. It is made of canvas and a handle whose material is the same used as doormats. More than fashion, the bag is special for what it stands for - that if we work together, no matter how small we are, we can turn things into something useful and beautiful.



The canvas fabric, macrome handle, and the wooden insignia, were all made out of scrap materials, re-used and reinvented to reduce waste in Metro Manila, to create a fashionable pro-earth statement, and to support President Cory Aquino's cause.

Rarurick Ragu, owner and designer of :WhoNose:, just keeps getting better. She now has two shops, one in the Baby Monkey Mall and another at LVS Drive.  You can find these outfits at either shop.  Her designs are beautifully sculpted and rich in detail.  Many come with shoes or jewelry and the most expensive dress in her shop is only 80L.  There are so many great deals here I couldn't cover them all.  Besides being very generous, she is definitely a designer to follow.  

The Shine Dress in Silver is only 5L.  The texture and design are fabulous. The jewelry is the Memories Set at Deco (one of my total favs) at the Vagabonds location.  The earrings are only 1 L thru Friday (SLT) and the necklace is half price.  Check out the Maraschino set right next to it for the same pricing.  

The dress above is on of many dresses available in her Lucky Board.  She spares no expense in quality on the items you can get on the board.  The cute Robokun bracelet and ring are a group gift at *mocorin*. Check out the other cute cheapies on the wall.  This is an adorable shop.  The Zelda hat is one of many you can find for only 10L at Split Pea.  Melatonin Hax is celebrating the first anniversary of her store.  All hats with even a tiny bit of green are only 10L.  All sunglasses are also priced at 10L.  Look at the shop sign for a 1L princess hat.

The Lavender Summer dress is only 5L The candy flats are from Scribble (not free but darn cute). Again I am wearing the Memories set from Deco.  

The Jewel Doll dress is an example of a full price dress at :WhoNose:.  It comes with cute matching flats and shoulder jewels.  It is available in a nice array of candy colors.  I am in love with bags lately and the Robo & Moco bag from *mocorin* is at the top of the cute list.  The designer and owner, akinko Twine, is so nice and flipped the board to a wildcard so that I could get it.  She also showed me that you can camp for the cute shoes at the front of her shop by sitting on an egg.  I will definitely have to go back and do that.  The sunglasses are from Split Pea, one of many for 10L.  (I bought them all...cough)

I like the Nine West stores here in Melbourne and Sydney because they have more updated stocks and hip styles. Usually, I wait for relatives to send me Nine West bags - thank you all!

Boarding Bag for a Traveling Fashionista

Hi readers! :) I've just finished packing "light" and I'll be in another continent soon. I'll update StyleandRelax as soon as I land. In the meantime, don't you find packing a challenging chore?

Traveling is one of life's best moment, Kodak moment perhaps. Clothes, accessories, and shoes make travel more fun and comfortable. A girl could only wish that her closet can come aboard and fly too. Originally, I was bringing 3 bags full of clothes but my mother frowned at them and pulled out this vintage Samsonite bag:


Samsonite Odyssey Boarding Bag

At first, it seems like a laptop bag but like a Transformer, it became a super spacious and big boarding bag. Lesson: don't judge a folded bag especially when it's made of real soft flexible expandable leather.

Since it's vintage but fresh out of the box (ironic), the bag had whitish dust/mold something. And my mom saves it again by bringing out her coach leather bag cleaner and moisturizer.



If you have an old leather bag and want to restore it to its sparkling new state, then these two bottles are your bestfriends. All you need is a clean cloth to wipe the cleaner first, then the moisturizer which makes the leather soft to the touch and shiny.

2 bags full of clothes fit into this Samsonite boarding bag like magic, although my mom is still frowning at the quantity of my clothes.
