Find Bob

LVS Drive has recently had a remodel and to celebrate, Bob, the dog, has taken a dress from LVS and hidden it somewhere on the sim.  Look for Bob and pet him to get it for 1 L. Every day Bob is moved so every day look in a different location. There is a picture of Bob at the landing point.

Kouse's Resolution

My darling friend Elliandra blogged this dress but I'm sure she won't mind if I share it with you.  Kouse's Sanctum has a gorgeous gown, Resolution, out in black for only 1 L.  It is stunning and the top layer of prims don't lay like that.  I am on an alt and she has no poses.

Fly Me to the Moon

Voshie Paine of La Petit Morte is offering the coolest dollarbie until November 1st.  It is a pose set that includes the Moon against a black backdrop and a broom with pose.  It is absolutely perfect for Halloween posing.  The outfit I am wearing is the very fetching Spiderweb in orange that you can get for only 10 L at Viviane Fashions.  It includes the shoes, which have spiders on the toes. Follow the red arrow to find it.

The skin I'm wearing is currently free right now at Cupcakes!  It is from the new Daydream line, which is a huge favorite of mine.  It is has exclusive fairy makeup.  Also, each day Mimi and Rosemary, Cupcake goddesses have a different makeup version of the new line marked down to 100 L.  PS. If you are looking for the lucky chairs and cupcake, they have been removed until because they were causing excessive lag and failed transactions.  Look for it again when they can purchase their new sim.

Sileny's Candy Cane

Oh, the lewd things I could say.  Our very own Ms. Sileny Noel, whom I loathe and despise, has started making clothes; which makes me hate her even more.  Her outfit, Candy Cane, is a dollarbie that she has placed in her and Alexx's Shape It Up store on Onyx Noir.  Rarely do I see such outstanding work with seams and shirt/skirt details on a first outfit.  I tip my hat to you, your evilness.

Where the Wild Things Are

Here I was, minding my own business, communing with nature and hanging out with my pet Ibex, Craig, when my camp was savagely attacked by wild animals. I had heard stories about this happening in SL but I rebuked them as old wives tales. However, my vast knowledge of zoology reminded me that Tyrannosaurus Rex is terrified of the color red so just in case I pitched my red tent from Mudhoney and wore the duster I won in the lucky chair at Nomine. Just as the Rex was coming towards me he was attacked by other brave creatures who rescued me from certain death.

Never too Hot to be Cool

I live in a part of the States that has pretty much missed the dog days of summer. The "big lake" has rarely hit the 70's though August can always take a turn on us. When Gwendolyn Bieler let me know that she has new dollarbie in her shop I knew it was time to take most of my clothes out and grab some sunshine in SL (cuz there isn't any outside).

For one tiny little Linden you can get this wonderful Cabana set through the month of August. It includes the desk, cabana, 2 deck lounges, a daybed, ceiling fan and rug as well as two beach towels. The are all kinds of moving things like closing shades in front, the fan rotates and the seating has well placed poses, with 3 options on the daybed. The yummy sherbet color makes me yearn for a day at the beach and summer fairs.
SWIM has out their new August dollarbie swimsuit. There is also a men's suit available as well for 1 L. SWIM is also participating in the Slice of Summer Hunt, which contains 2 swimsuits for both men and women in it. Ianni Lane, SWIM designer, did not make this one easy to find, but trust me, it's there. You can go to the Slice of Summer blog for hints.

Journey's Black Rose

Prism Haute Couture has a new dollarbie available in the store. Journey McGlagen is such a sweet lady and offers a new dollarbie outfit quite frequently as well as gifts with purchases. The Black Rose outfit was just put out today and should be there for about a week. The outfit includes gloves and stockings (which I forgot to wear for the photo -- fail!) that match the floral design on the shirt and skirt which is exceptional detail for a dollarbie.

Also, Bishwear is retiring it's current hair styles for new textures and you can get most hairs, with the exception of the newest releases for 75 to 99 L. This will not last long so get down there quickly. Speaking of retiring, Frick is retiring many of it's current fantasy and retro skins and many are available for free or ridiculous prices like 5 L. That sale will end 7/1 so hurry on over there and snatch them up!

Who loves Cupcakes? Me!

I've seriously sprained my ankle in RL or I would have shown you this earlier today with lots more pictures. Cupcakes is having now the sale to end all sales. Where to start? All summer clothing has been marked down to 100 L or less until July 4th. I'm talking lots of clothes, but check this out: lots of those clothes are 1 L!!! The catch is you have to find them. I am showing you two here but there are lots more! Also until the 4th is a special on skins. For every single skin (1000L), you will get a 1000 L gift card. For every fat pack of skin you purchase, you can chose a second skin pack for free!

But wait, there's more. At the front of the store there are 12 "gift bags". First, they aren't free. They are 250 L each but they are loaded with a skin in all tones, a shape, an outfit and eyes. If you belong to the Cupcake Update Group, which is now only 100 L to join, you will find out that quite often they are offering a 500 L gift card when you purchase on of these sets. The gift bags are only available until the 4th as well. The 500 L gift card offer is not all the time so the best way to find out when is to be in the group. I have purchased several because they are such an exceptional value.
Cupcakes is such wonderful group. Rosemary Galbraith and Mimi Coral are exceptional at both skin and clothing design (there is also a group gift in the archives now too). And if you are lucky, you might walk in like I did and see Mimi in a gorilla suit humping Rosemary's leg! What a treat! Speaking of legs, time for mine to elevate.

Welcome Mystic Sky!

My dear friend, Skyler John, has opened a new store called Mystic Sky. It is devoted to Medieval style gowns and fantasy roleplay clothing. All the designs are original. They are so impressive. Her textures are rich and the prims are perfect. The Ella gown in lavender is exclusive to the lucky chair. It includes the cape, which is so wonderfully dramatic. The floral hair garland is a dollarbie.

Rarurick Ragu, owner and designer of :WhoNose:, just keeps getting better. She now has two shops, one in the Baby Monkey Mall and another at LVS Drive.  You can find these outfits at either shop.  Her designs are beautifully sculpted and rich in detail.  Many come with shoes or jewelry and the most expensive dress in her shop is only 80L.  There are so many great deals here I couldn't cover them all.  Besides being very generous, she is definitely a designer to follow.  

The Shine Dress in Silver is only 5L.  The texture and design are fabulous. The jewelry is the Memories Set at Deco (one of my total favs) at the Vagabonds location.  The earrings are only 1 L thru Friday (SLT) and the necklace is half price.  Check out the Maraschino set right next to it for the same pricing.  

The dress above is on of many dresses available in her Lucky Board.  She spares no expense in quality on the items you can get on the board.  The cute Robokun bracelet and ring are a group gift at *mocorin*. Check out the other cute cheapies on the wall.  This is an adorable shop.  The Zelda hat is one of many you can find for only 10L at Split Pea.  Melatonin Hax is celebrating the first anniversary of her store.  All hats with even a tiny bit of green are only 10L.  All sunglasses are also priced at 10L.  Look at the shop sign for a 1L princess hat.

The Lavender Summer dress is only 5L The candy flats are from Scribble (not free but darn cute). Again I am wearing the Memories set from Deco.  

The Jewel Doll dress is an example of a full price dress at :WhoNose:.  It comes with cute matching flats and shoulder jewels.  It is available in a nice array of candy colors.  I am in love with bags lately and the Robo & Moco bag from *mocorin* is at the top of the cute list.  The designer and owner, akinko Twine, is so nice and flipped the board to a wildcard so that I could get it.  She also showed me that you can camp for the cute shoes at the front of her shop by sitting on an egg.  I will definitely have to go back and do that.  The sunglasses are from Split Pea, one of many for 10L.  (I bought them all...cough)

A New Look for First Look

Ravelynn Templar of LVS fame reopened her shop, First Look, today.  Those of you that have been around awhile might remember the old shop back on the Cassiopea sim. This shop has a whole new look and is loaded with adorable outfits in the candy colors for which Ravelynn is known.  I had to restrain myself from buying every item and overloading my burgeoning inventory.  Everything is that cute and she is hoping to add a new item every Sunday. 

This is just a smattering of outfits available.  I love breezy little dresses and this one caught my eye for the colors that stray just a bit from the other clothing colors.  
Tears is one of my favorite of Ravelynn's color palette.  At the frequent festivals she hosts I usually can't walk away without something in this color.  I'm also wearing a necklace from Violet Voltaire.  Violet is closing her SL jewelry stores as she makes plans to sell RL jewelry. She is having a tremendous sale (previous Lucky Chair items are marked drastically low in the building behind the main store).  I will miss her work tremendously but wish her only the best in her new endeavor. 
I think Ravelynn makes some of the hottest bikinis on the grid.  This one also comes with a skirt so you can wear it to many places on the always sunny SL grid. 
Lastly, there are about a million and one tops and cheeky pants so that you can mix and match to your heart's delight.   Everything at First Look is only 1 L.  Now the important part; First Look had to close the first time because it did not cover it's costs.  There is a tip jar in the middle of the shop.  If you are able, please support this endeavor with some extra Linden's.

Who Knew?

I'm not sure how often this wonderful woman has been blogged but she is very deserving of attention.  Tucked into the corner of the Monkey Mall at Baby Monkey is Rarurick Ragu's :WhoNose: shop.  Rarurick has a very distinctive style of layered skirts and uses lush colors.  The first dress is an exclusive gift for the Lucky Chair Stalkers group (it's in my profile).  We recently grew to over 1000 members and Rarurick's store is a big favorite of one of the group owners, Elliandra Parx. 

I paired the dress with the adorable elven skin and ears that Brutus Martinek gave to the Pididdle subscriber group.  She is eliminating her regular group by the end of the month and going all subscriber.  I believe you must be in the group already to receive the gift so get over there and get your name in.  She is one of my favorites.  The hair is a score from Madam Ashia, who told me that you can get older Kin hair free on XStreet.  All the hair I feature in this post is from there.  There are other styles, including some for men.  

I was telling Rarurick today that her Lucky Boards hate E so she came over and set her boards to wild for a spell and some of us got this incredible dress and egg backpack from her lucky boards.  The colors in the egg are fantastic.  If you don't want to wait for your letter or want different colors she has a fatpack of eggs for only 50 L.  If you see Rarurick around the grid she is probably wearing a Lucky Board backpack that really gives out prizes!  Look for her for a gorgeous pink dress.  The skin I am wearing in the last three pictures is a new dollarbie from Beauty Avatar called Alyssa. 

I've been anticipating these shoes for a long time.  My darling Pixieplumb Flanagan, the creator of Baby Monkey shoes has been working on these hunnies for awhile.  The Ultimates are prim footed shoes and get this:  You can pick your skin tone from a menu (or you can match colors)! The nail color can be changed as well as the toe rings.  This style was a group gift today to the Baby Monkey Junkies group.  There are 4 more styles in about a million colors.  And even better: if you are a member of the Baby Monkey Junkies group you can get them for 100 L a pair!!!!  Nongroup members can get them for 150 L, which is still a bargain, but Pixie is such a generous designer and always working so hard to expand her selection.  I've been a devoted fan forever!  

 I received this incredible dress yesterday from On the Catwalk through their subscriber.  It is a very sexy number which wonderful texturing.  I didn't show the back but it has a great skull graphic.  It's hard-core and posh at the same time.  It is #1 (Ed Hardy mini-gift) in the messages.  I haven't taken in off since I got it.
