Oh god I hate it when I wake up, and it's raining, been raining all night. Dark skies at 7am are just wrong. Specially on a Weds, specially when mini Ash decided at 2.30am that there was no way on earth she could sleep in her own bed. Specially when she takes up my whole damn bed.

Next we have a gorgeous opening dollarbie from Amaranthus, a new project from Elbereth Nightfire of Star Kindler fame. This is a bit of a departure from the jewelery we are used to from this talented designer, featuring Victorian gothic pieces that are just stunning. The perfect foil for these gorgy silks from Silk & Satyr, also an opening gift. Do hit up the subscribo, and do spend lots of lindens in this yummy store, it's my first choice for silks.......srsly.



And here is where Ash got thoroughly fed up today!!! Ash and Q were looking decidedly similar, so here we have the new (for the moment) Ash! I'm prob the only one that can tell the difference, but that kinda counts..right?!





I haven't posted about the cutest store on the grid for awhile. Lo*momo long ago claimed that title in my books, and there has been no contender since!! Get yourself to Exercise - Belly Dance

Summer is the best season to be active, but honestly with the afternoon heat all we want to do is lie down and wait for the sun to fade. Hence, everybody needs all the motivation in the world - think of something fun to do wherein you can burn all those calories hiding behind our skin.

Why don't we try something new like....

Belly Dancing! These are the photos I took during the Fitness First Anniversary in Megamall. Belly dancers are so graceful, confident, and glowing. Not to mention the fabulous costume, didn't we all want to be like Princess Jasmine during our tween age? The show was enough to convince me to unearth my belly dancing instructional videos.

If you have extra money, it's best to enroll yourself in a belly dancing studio where mirrors are installed on the walls and you can see if you are getting all the moves right. Teachers are also present to correct, guide, and motivate you along the way.



On the other hand, there are lots of belly dancing videos in record bars. These you can do and follow in the comforts of your own home. Here are some tips to get the most of belly dancing at home.

1. Be sure that you have enough space to move around
2. Prepare all things that you might need (i.e. face towel, a glass of water)
3. It's best to practice belly dancing inside your own room where people cannot disturb you
4. If you are living with housemates, be clear with them that you are not to be disturbed or that they should not barge into your room
5. Always have the remote control within your reach should you need to pause

These tips are the same tips I follow whenever I practice yoga at home. It's hard to get ourselves moving and disturbances would only discourage us to continue exercising. Now grab yourself a Belly Dancing DVD and move it! :)

Nikki Reed in Vancouver...Having a Slumber Party?

Lainey Gossip provides the goods & dirt again:

Exclusive shots of Nikki Reed on Sunday afternoon. Shortly after these photos were taken she took off for Rob’s place. Later that night (Sunday) they met up with friends, then ended up at one of the label parties after the Junos with Kristen Stewart and her boyfriend Michael Angarano. Am told Rob and Nikki spent much of the time talking to each other, heads bent close together.

My sources tell me exclusively that at the end of the evening, or early morning depending how you see it, the four of them left the event, hugged before parting ways (a weird 4-way group hug), Kristen and Michael hopped in a cab, and Nikki and Rob walked further up the block… arms wrapped around each other on their way home.

She stayed with him overnight, was supposed to be back in LA on Monday….

But never showed.

Inneresting. Very inneresting. I like slumber parties. Don't believe everything that you read. :-) See the pics here.

New Moon La Push Scene Photos: Nice Big Flowing Wigs!

Are you digging Bella's big hair and Jacob's halfsie-up do?Lainey does it again:

As you can see, they’re both wearing wigs. Movie making magic! And I always thought her hair was that thick and lustrous! There’d been a lot of questions about whether or not Taylor could grow into the role. From the back, Taylor does look kinda man now. Kristen’s make up is great. Am all over the stain they use on her lips. Gorgeous.

Right now, filming has primarily involved these two with some wolf shots thrown in here and there. However, while Taylor/Jacob will feature prominently, right now there are several “Edward” dream sequences planned, just so the crazy fan moms don’t lose their sh-t over not enough Robert Pattinson. Whether or not those parts make it to the final cut is another story.

Celebuzz has a new article on 7 Things You Need to Know About 'New Moon' Wolf Alex Meraz. Here is an excerpt:

THE DUDE WORKS HARD: Nabbing the key role in Twilight was no fluke for the young actor. "If there's anyone I have known in my life that deserves this, it's Alex," says Trijillo. "He's worked his ass off in the time I have known him. He never lets up."

Beyond staying in top physical shape, the actor-student works hard on honing his craft, including his New Moon audition. "Alex drove from Phoenix to my ranch in New Mexico on his birthday weekend so I could help him with his audition," says Trujillo. "It's about 8 hours each way. But he knew he needed to get this done."

"He's humble," says Trujillo. "And he always showed that he was willing to listen and learn."

SORRY LADIES, HE'S MARRIED: Alex is madly in love with his Vietnamese-American wife Kim. They have a child named Somak (Trujillo is the god-parent). Kim was the one who was a true Twilight fan.

"His wife is the one who has read all of those books. And she's the one who said look, you have to got to get into this. This is perfect for you. You're the one."

TwiHards Staking-Out Filming Locations: I Want In On This Set-Stalking Ring :-)

Vancouver Sun reports that New Moon fans are rushing from location to location and using high-tech James Bond techniques to set-stalk:

Twilight fans have been running off their feet to catch a glimpse of New Moon stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

New Moon, the second book in the Twilight series, is being shot at locations across British Columbia and the Twilight fansites and Twitter networkers are actively stalking the production and broadcasting locations as they become known.

Oh, wait. Are they talking about fansites like mine? Oops. Anyhoo, in spite of all the TwiHards' efforts, set-stalker Michele Danielov reports that there's not much to see:

When a friend called to say that the New Moon shoot had set up at Minnekhada Regional Park in Coquitlam, she didn't hesitate.

"I went down there during the day, but it was all blocked off," said the 37-year-old accountant. Although no active filming is taking place there now, Danielov plans to return to the park.

"The trucks are still there so they will for sure be coming back," she said.

On Friday Danielov spotted another film crew working in Pitt Meadows, by chance as she was driving by and returned that night with a friend

"On both sites, they brilliantly located them so you can't see anything," she said. "It's surrounded by trees."

Rene Haynes shares more details about her New Moon casting experience with Celebuzz, including just how vocal Twilight fans are:

When Haynes was hired to cast the Native American roles in New Moon, she immediately became the center of attention of fans eager to speak their minds.

"It was crazy, especially in the early days," Haynes tells Celebuzz.

"In the first four weeks after the announcement that my office was casting these roles we stopped counting emails after 20,000," she tells Celebuzz. "I am not exaggerating."

Happy Monday!

Greetings All!  I took off my unicorn gear to show you some yummy things I picked up today.  Lemania's retirement outfit for today is stunning.  The shoes are included!  It's called Silver Love and went perfectly with the most recent group gift from Clawtooth by Clawtooth.  I purchased the Split Pea accessory made exclusively for the hair.  You can only pick it up at the CBC shop on Harold. Also out today, and I don't know for how long, are these amazing sandals with prim toes are free (YES!) at Vinyl Cafe.  There is a red pair at the other Vinyl Cafe location.  Get them.  I recommend making copies before you edit them; I had to go back and get more because I FUBAR'ed my first pair.  Always happens when I try and take shortcuts. 

I was thrilled when I received the Sweet Spring dress today from Mashooka Designs.  It is a gift for subscribers and you can find it in past notices under #1.  It has a resize script that I love (note FUBAR above) because I often need to adjust prims for to fit my frame.  The hair was one of the prizes in the House of Heart/Bewitched Farewell to Lemon Island hunt, which ends tomorrow morning.  The two shops are now on one sim, thus the name of the hunt. Several shops are participating including Earthstones, Tea Lane and many others.  It was a fairly easy hunt but quite spread out.  You are looking for lemons. 
Last though not least, the skin I'm wearing in both pictures is from the Seduction skin line at Cupcakes and was an amazing group gift sent to the group yesterday.  It costs 250 L to join the group but I have never regretted it. Enough yack from me.  Happy shopping!

Vancouver Sun Talks About Cuckoo Fansites Like Mine Clamoring for New Moon Cast Photos

The Vancouver Sun reports:

Real star sightings are hard to come by as Pattinson is not showing up at location shoots to date. Twilight fan sites are speculating that his scenes are not yet filming.

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have been sighted on location near Long Beach, Pitt Meadows and Port Coquitlam.

The Wolf Pack, the young first Nations actors cast to play the La Push first nations gang of Stephanie Meyer's novel New Moon have been extensively photographed on the streets of Vancouver over the past few days. Photographs of Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz and Kiowa Gordon are on laineygossip.com and links to those pictures are proliferating on Twilight fan sites.

Interestingly enough, a short while after their meal, Nikki was spotted heading over to Rob’s. She stayed at his place a few hours, then they went out and hooked up with some friends…
