My bloggy friend Pillowbiters has an interesting post about how Breaking Dawn is a contender for Galaxy British Book Award's Best Children's Book of the Year.Breaking Dawn competes with the likes of "Dinosaurs Love Underpants" (for kids who refuse to wear drawers??) and "Horrid Henry Robs the Bank". As Pillowbiters points out, did these peeps even read Breaking Dawn? I'm not a mom yet, but I'm not sure that I'd want my kid to be reading about headboard-breaking bruising sex-capades with vampires. (Yum)
