Bodyline group gift skin

Bodyline released a new beautiful skin called Uzuri and sent a special gift skin to the group. It comes in teeth and regular versions. Join Bodyline - updates (200L join fee) and check notices. There's also another skin that will disappear from notices after tomorrow!

Some other things worth noting is the Exile Darla 40L hair at TDR Blue, it comes in all colors too, and comes with hairbase (I'm wearing it below).

More (cheap) hearts to go around!

I know that you all have been seeing pink and red everywhere now, but I have more to share. I want to share some cute cheapies with you that end/disappear tomorrow (so tomorrow should be the last day to get it).

Existence sim is having a event where Piddle, SMP, Miseria, Kozmetika, and BOOM have sale prices on most items marked with a pink or red balloon, and/or just pink or red (it varies on the store). Anyway, there is also carts of items on sale of pre-releases or exclusives for those stores. I'm wearing BOOM set that is only 50L! (also comes with strings not worn and another bra + another pair of shorts, a dress)

See that little kiss on my boob and my cute nails with a heart on it? They are from RezIpsa Loc The nails come in a pack of several different kinds for 50L (for all 10). As for the kisses, there's 10 in total (red and pink, and various spots) as well, and you can play a gatcha for 5L per play, or buy the fatpack for 50L.

Finally, I know you are wanting to know where my cute shoes are from! They are a prelease from Willow that is only 60L for today and tomorrow in this color only! I write way too much, sorry.

I was just here and the beauty fair is the perfect venue to discover the season's hottest makeup hues. I couldn't resist but raid the Maybelline display and begged for an instant makeup lesson. I've been a hermit at home and it's just hard to resist the SALE. It feels like everyday, there is a sale but it's not that often Ayala Malls hold one.

Marquee Mall is the one in Clark, Pampanga - which reminds me, it's almost Hot Air Balloon season and I haven't prepared nor booked any hotels. Santa, can you do this for me?

First off is Penshoppe with the Great Penshoppe Sale. From January 3 to 15, 2011. Tis' the perfect time to get a good fitting pair of jeans from their boutiques.



Next are the shops from Elite Garments: Freeway, Solo, and Ensembles. Though their sale started December 2010, they are still running on red tags.

My Maybelline NY Sale Haul - On Sale until December 15!

Maybelline is a staple to me, a necessity which I do not think twice of purchasing. So one day I was at SM Makati I saw this poster on their stall:



30% off on all products above P250 and 20% off all products below P250. You also get another 10% off if you have a SMAC card. Sale runs until Dec 15 only.

Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals are a main stay in my makeup kit, which I recently lost and this was a great opportunity to stack up and get a new blush and concealer which I managed to live without for months!



Here is my Maybelline purchase.

I was deeply excited I bought the Angelfit Concealer instead of the Clear Smooth Concealer x.x My skin reacts to Angelfit, making the concealer turn into a darker shade upon application :( I am giving it to my sister after I get the right one.

I think Watsons is still on sale too. I was there this afternoon and got another something for myself at a cheaper price but more on that later :)

I don't normally partake in this crazy sale (read: Crocs is participating) until I fell in love with Parisian shoes. I am not even sure if they will participate but I am going to take my chances, rawr!

Toys for the Boys at Toys R' Us

At Toys R' Us, I saw items on crazy discounts like kiddie furniture and toys from Php 2,000 to just Php 499.75! I almost pulled out a scene from the Shopaholic movie when another mom grabbed a fireman chair set before I even saw it. Believe me when I say I had evil eyes and the shopper held on to her box tightly. It was the last piece. Mommies were all over the place looking for the greatest deals for their little jelly beans.

Dandy Finds at Handyman

After grabbing toys, it's time to grab some stuff for the house at Handyman. I didn't realize they had lots of interesting items just like in Saizen. For instance, solar lamps for the garden, ant killers (yes I hate them!) and modern home organizers.

I have my eyes on appliance like the toaster above which I want for our new home. Yet I just had to go with a big-o convection oven.

My hubby and I went home tired but fulfilled, him with his new Transformer toy :) Since we started our family, we've been very thrifty but with all the discounts and deals at Robinsons, we were able to shop again for ourselves without forgetting our little boy.

Ayala Malls Biggest Sale!

My favorite mall is going on SALE! This means special deals will be coming to Watson's as well as Maybelline counters (hopefully).



On Friday, September 18 the massive mall-wide sale will start and they will be open until 12 midnight. Does this mean Whitehat frozen yogurt will be open until the wee hours too? exciting!

Rediscovering BUM Equipment

Santa must have heard I am running out of clothes when I got these in my mail yesterday from BUM Equipment.



Back in College, the most practical thing to wear for me was a pair of capri pants and a shirt. Hence, I never had enough of cool shirts that fit my kolehiyala budget. I would scour SM Department store and one of the brands I patronized was BUM Equipment for their glittery, graphic, and nice fitting shirts. Looks like a lot has changed:



These photos are such a challenge for me to create my own look with the clothes! Looks like kids have everything these days.

In the meantime, BUM Equipment invites all readers to avail of their special anniversary sale. I swear, back in College I would rejoice to see yellow sale tags. All items are now 20% off for the entire month of August.

Princess for a Day

I've been freebie/cheaping hunting since I figured out how to leave Orientation Island. In spite of that there are times when I am utterly dumbfounded by the the extreme quality of the gifts that some designers share with us. These two gowns fall into this category.

The first gown is a gift from Kouse's Sanctum when you join the subscriber group. The Boleyn Girl (loved the movie!) gown is a stunning Caribbean blue in a rich satin. It's braided trim and embroidered bodice lend to it's opulence.

For great accessories for either gown head over to Deco at the Vagabonds and Festivale locations through Friday where everything in the store is 25L (prices are normally 100 - 800 L). I am wearing the Memories set below. One of her designs, the Platinum Pendant Set, is only 1 L, and is a great art deco design and perfect when I wear retro outfits. All jewelry at Deco is transferable so load up on prezzies while you have a chance. The Serenity Skin is from the group exclusive lucky board at Cupcakes. The group has a 100 L join fee. I've been a member since way back when I was in the Rosemar group and I have gotten my lindens back over and over again. Hempy Weezles turned me on to AY.LinE when she hollered at me to clear a lucky chair. This one is not on of the lucky sets, which are fat packs. There are 2 boards with different styles (fatpacks, not single colors). The stunning eyes (Strange Purple) are one of my much loved sets from Tacky Star, who's owner, Aura Faulta, has singlehandedly rescued me from shoddy eyes. 50 L per set in many sizes.
The Samantha gown from the Lucky Chair at Mystic Sky is a deep, luscious royal blue. It has a rich tapestry texture and braided trim. Still pictures cannot do justice to the way this dress moves. It's flow, for lack of better word at the moment, is purposeful, sensuous and regal. My friend, Skyler John, who owns Mystic Sky has become a fantastic designer. Some of her outfits for men, women and small people are 50 %. Check out her newest design, even if it is just to drool. The hair I am wearing here is AY.LinE's current group gift, Nemu. It comes in a fatpack and in two sizes. It has risen to the top of my favorite hair shops list!

Have you all had a fabulous Easter so far? I've had an absolute ball catching up with people I usually only get to see fleetingly due to timezones.



I have some beautiful things to show you. First is this subscribo gift from Trap. The "Koi" tattoo is designed to go with the infamous skins of the same name, I own the Rose, but I thought I'd show off the art work on a plain skin, no other tatts. You can see the progress on Selos's blog, as well as a really gorgeous full sized shot.



The next outfits are an Easter gift from LeLutka. You get the pants, several belt versions and 4 colours of the shirt. And ssshhh, look closely. There's a sneak peek of an upcoming release from Dare Designs. The shoes are called "Mistress' and they are the awesome. Stay tuned for a release date.

The group received a massive box of goodies this morn, but just so you know, if you're joining now, there will be a 500L fee. The skins I'm wearing throughout the post are from Laqroki, who is having a massive sale. This "Tasha" skin in olive was the most amazing value. 21 makeups for 950L. Fashionable Relay Challenge!

It's my turn in the Fashionable Relay Challenge that the lovely Sasy Scarborough started up a few days ago. Samsara Barzane created a fabulous look for her part of the challenge, and the rules of the game are that I take one item she rocked out in and wear it here. Of course, this being Free*Style, I found a few good freebies to pair with the item I chose, the /artilleri/ scarf (but in blue & not free).

I first headed to Tuli's hunt on her Journey sim to find some items to pair with the awesome /artilleri/ scarf. One of the prizes to find is her Kalista skin in a makeup especially for the hunt, "Valentine," and I'm wearing the "light" skin tone. I also found this adorable cable knit cropped sweater vest in "Sand" that Tuli made too. It's a great neutral and basic piece that goes with so much.

Then I checked out the massive 50% off sale going on at Sn@tch. Not free, but the deals to be had are too good not to post about! I picked up this thermal and these delicious chocolate cords at such a steal. Rumor has it that some items in the "Cheapie Room" are marked down to $0L during the weekend-long sale!

A few other free items I found to finish off my post for the Relay Challenge that aren't new but are great basics. These light blue Miriel eyes are part of the wearable demos graciously set out in-store, and these Maitreya pumps are a group gift for joining the subscribe-o-matic that Suri recently blogged.
