Bewitched

Today I felt like ditching the whole traditional black witch thing for this gorges smoky plum, feathery gown that you can grab for free at Cover Girl. A free floppy hat by Djinn & Tonic, a free broomstick + a striking $10L metallic plum makeup layer added festive touches; some free classic 2-row pearls classed it up a notch.
A word about this pose: there's a nice 5-pose set for free by Idea Motus that's way fun for us photogs (i.e., a bit different than your usual ho-hum standing variety, especially if you experiment with different angles). Most def worth a scoop!

A Different Sort of Ship

I'm normally off on a different sort of ship. You know, the kind that goes around space? but that is another tale to tell.

This one is of Pirate Helena!


It's not often a woman of my caliber crashes anything. Specially a ship, but it does happen from time to time, normally after a few centuries of boredom.

What you need when you decide to do something like this is a hot little outfit to win over the locals!

Too bad where I decided to crash it was home of foot tall furry critters all running around and fishing. Still to this day this world amazes me. Wonder if they would be yummy to eat? *ponders*


To appease the denizens of your new home, you must have something on your body. Surreal makes wonderful garments that are constantly on this blog, she is generous, talented, and a dreamer at heart.

Next to be a real pirate you need your eyepatch. Do you really NEED one? NO. Do you really WANT one? Yes!

But why go normal, go all out! This eyepatch is a special gift from Actuate Eden to celebrate their new store. Thank the gods it wasn't pink, I'd have cried!


Now you could wear the hat that comes with the outfit . . . or you could grab this one that is currently in the Rad Minds Hunt. You never can have enough pirate hats right? Morrigan Denimore of The Black Canary made this little beauty. There actually are 2 versions, so more fun for you.


As with most things, I'm not totally right. A far bit of strange was to be had on the sea in my merry vessel. If your something otherworldly, but like to fit in somewhat and must be in more human appearance, eyes are the way to go. They really can give that one element of "odd". Let everyone know who you really are, Eh?

The Lovely Unicorn

Once upon a time, there was a pink fairy with fabulous green rosebud eyelashes.
One day the pink fairy was doing her typical zoom-over the usual fields + flowers when she spied a lovely unicorn. And as everyone knows, unicorns have to grant you a wish if you catch them.
"Hellooo, Mr. Unicorn, sir," trilled the pink fairy. "I caught you, so now you have to give me my wish!"
"Yeah, yeah," grumbled the unicorn. He'd been in the wish business a long time + seen it all before. Besides this morning a bee had decided to go + sting his nether parts (it's very difficult for unicorns to scratch themselves, especially down there) so he was in a particularly foul mood. "Whaddya want then, lady? Just remember, you only get one wish, so make sure you know what you really want."

"Oh, I've thought about it a lot, Mr. Unicorn, sir," the pink fairy assured him, giggling. "What I want more than anything in the world is . . . to meet Brad Pitt."
"Brad Pitt?" yelped the unicorn.
"Lady, are you CRAZY? Who do you think I am -- Harry Potter?!"
The pink fairy was disappointed, but she was determined little thing. And something told her that today was her lucky day. So the pink fairy went on her merry way, in search of this superior magical being called Harry Potter.

Blue Bonnet

One of my fave SL costume stores Deviance has a super-romantic new hunt gift that is really worth grabbing. This cornflower blue + gold studded look exudes a sweet girlish innocence with just a smidge of smexeh.
Attention to detail is what makes the Deviance clothing something special. For some reason to me, this outfit was also totally channeling that girl on the Blue Bonnet margarine box.
What? Margarine is bad for you? And I have too many hair accessories on? Double oh noes.
I paired this look with these free sky blue ankle strap stilettos by R2 (love the anklet ribbons on the back), one of my favie finds on the Cupid Heart Hunt (first posted by Anya Ohmai here with a great hint sheet).

Deviant Sorceress

I don't get to go out lucky chair stalking often, my work and well myself just don't allow it, it takes up too much time, when I could very well be making hair.



This outfit tho, it had to be MINE!
