So...have you been to the Another Fundraiser II event yet? Oh, you haven't? Well...WHAT"S WRONG WITH YOU!? LOL! Sorry I got a bit excited there D:

The event is really awesome, seriously for serious awesome super cool. At the location are skins and tattoo makeups from tons of designers and regular SL users that are only 50L each! And all the proceeds go to help those affected by the recent disaster in the Pacific.

For the event people were given the challenge to create skins or makeups using only the free and full perm skins from Eloh, MinaJunk, and Splendor along with their own creativity and talent. It was so fun to see the variety that came from people using the same sources!

I am only showing a few of the items available because there are just so many! Even a bunch of current and former Free*Stylers cooked up some goodies!

So come down, grab some el cheapo skins and makeups and support a great cause!

The Lovely Unicorn

Once upon a time, there was a pink fairy with fabulous green rosebud eyelashes.
One day the pink fairy was doing her typical zoom-over the usual fields + flowers when she spied a lovely unicorn. And as everyone knows, unicorns have to grant you a wish if you catch them.
"Hellooo, Mr. Unicorn, sir," trilled the pink fairy. "I caught you, so now you have to give me my wish!"
"Yeah, yeah," grumbled the unicorn. He'd been in the wish business a long time + seen it all before. Besides this morning a bee had decided to go + sting his nether parts (it's very difficult for unicorns to scratch themselves, especially down there) so he was in a particularly foul mood. "Whaddya want then, lady? Just remember, you only get one wish, so make sure you know what you really want."

"Oh, I've thought about it a lot, Mr. Unicorn, sir," the pink fairy assured him, giggling. "What I want more than anything in the world is . . . to meet Brad Pitt."
"Brad Pitt?" yelped the unicorn.
"Lady, are you CRAZY? Who do you think I am -- Harry Potter?!"
The pink fairy was disappointed, but she was determined little thing. And something told her that today was her lucky day. So the pink fairy went on her merry way, in search of this superior magical being called Harry Potter.

Ready for Spring . . . With Tea & Biscuits (My 1st Post!)

What's happening frugalistas. Some of ya might know me from my "Better Quality Freebies" lists that I distribute weekly to the Free*Style group, or thru my own blog SLexy Fashionista. The gracious Creamy invited me to join the kickass blogging team here + I have to say that I am tres honored. *Huge mwuahs* to all the Free*Style blogging crew + officers, and especially to Creamy, Sileny, Eden, Marci + Evangeline for being so gosh darn welcoming. /me luhs you ladies!

Maybe it's just me, but I've been dreaming about springtime peeking at us around the corner. This free lavendar floral knit dress by D-Design totally suited my wistful-for-warm-weather mood + was such a 'natch with the darker plum Pelletteria Morrisey booties gift I was actually looking for when I happened upon this pretty sleeveless number.
My main homie Gavin McGinnis kindly let me borrow him for a pose or two (he's not hard on the eyes, right ladies?) Gavin is showing 2 free casual looks here from the Just for Guys Hunt, both by Pasarella. He also picked this look himself. Go man-shionista! Hee hee.

BP's new free silver bucket full o' posies were so perfect for my floral-floral mood. Naturally, sunset is the funnest time to hold pretty flowers. I think these fishies had their eyes longingly on the ocean, tho'.
This next beach-ready look comes courtesy of the freebies wall at Gigi Couture Outlet. I hadn't been there in awhile + was happy to see so many cute tops + jean skirts (that can also be worn without the skirt prim, as shorts, like I'm doing here) for either free or $1L. There's tons more reduced pieces starting at $25L and up too.
The beach bag + retro green sunglasses are free by Pelletteria Morrisey and the sparkly teal ballet flats (awww, pretty yellow stars make for happy feets!) are the free Elliot store opening gift by Tomoto.
I saw this free G&N tank top + patchwork capris outfit on The Freebie Telegraph (thank you Val -- you + Shania rock! *mwuahs*) that totally channeled a springtime mood. The tattoo I'm wearing is a free lucky board gift from I Heart Rien and features shadowy silhouettes of retro pinup girls (such a cool idea).
This relaxed, all-American look totally fit with these free red plaid ruffled T-strap heels by Nardcotix (this is 1 of 3 free shoe gifts they currently have for the Shoes & Accessories Hunt). These are really cute + the "scrunchy" ruffle textures are baked so prettily here.
To close out my first post, I wanted to give a special nod to Creamy's homeland by honoring the U.K. national beverage -- tea! How cute is this free tower of leaning teacups for your head from rbcg? -- What's actually kinda funny about this sign behind me is that Creamy says this to me all the time. -- Ahhh poor woman. Little does she know that I'm really a tres jaded soul who shamelessly uses fashion to cover my many, many other flaws. -- What up Creamster! Aren't you glad you invited me to join? *salutes*
Now since you can't have tea without biscuits, I wanted to show you one of my fave freebies in SL: Pop*Feel's homage to everyone's favorite biscuit ("biscuit" means "cookie" in the U.K., right?), the Oreo. This scrumptious free sweet treat doubles as a pose stand + most def cutesies up the whole freezing-your-avi-while-you-change bit(I have 2 in my home). F'get the tea -- pass the milk, darnit!

Hi everybody, i'm sorry to say that this that this is my last post on Free*Style. I've decided to focus more on my blog and a few opportunities have opened up for me and I think F*S aswell would be too much for me to do so i'm very sorry to announce my departure, but i've enjoyed my shortish stay here very much and it has made me realise how much i enjoy blogging and passing on my fashion tips etc to the rest of you :) But enough of sad times, here is my last post which i have tried to make extra pretty for you and have faced my fear of photoshop brushes, hurrah!



Okay i've caught up on my workload and i have a couple of very lovely things to show you here. For one, these 2 gorgeous leotards in 'lightpink' and 'brassy' by House of London are out for you all for 0L as they've thought of the idea of Customer Appreciation month! This will run from June 4th till July 4th and there will be numerous other freebs, games and a big sale too! So it's not just us bloggers who deserve appreciation!

The grey baggy pants are a group gift from Modd.G which now has a 200L joining fee but is worth it because Moddishh is very generous and you can be 100% sure that everything will be delicious because, well, it's Modd.G! You'll need to activate your tag and pay 1L to the vendor to recieve your gift :) Modd.G also has a 50% sale from now until a week or so so go now because you'll want everything D: All the poses in this pic are free from Modd.G aswell and she has a box of oldbies which are 0L with old tees/bits of clothing etc.

The gorgeous black skirt at the end (which quite frankly i didn't believe was 1L) is from SpeXx which is known for its retro crazy glasses but now has some skirts for sale which are lovely. This skirt also comes with bright purple leggings (not shown) and there is also a box for dollarbie glasses which, also, are not shown here. When you tp to SpeXx make sure to check out the other shops in the LA Street Scene as there is a small in-sim hunt where you're looking for 1L stars in most of shops there :)

Just a quick one

Heya, just a quick post today. I know it's probably wrong to advertise your own stuff but what the hell. I've made a pack of 4 shapes that correspond to certain skins by redgrave, curio and laqroki. I just named them after the certain skins because they are the skins the shapes look best with :) I have a few things in Horst now; shapes, a shirt and cheek piercings. So go check those out. I think we may need to invest in bigger space, it's getting rather crowded in there now!

Just wanna say i'm not going to be blogging as frequently anymore as i have my own blog and i might possible be writing for SXY2ND but i'll try balance it out as much as possible because i don't want to leave you all! Okay that's all for now, mwah <3
