Alice-in-Wonderland Syndrome

Alice in Wonderland

People think that Lewis Carroll, the author of Alice in Wonderland, may have suffered from this condition himself. Their brain processes visual information despite the fact that there is nothing wrong with their eyes. Objects, humans, parts of humans and animals etc. are perceived as being much smaller than what they actually are in reality. For instance: looking at a pet dog and seeing it the size of a small mouse.
