Fashion: Swimwear Features Tattoo Art! Freeway Summer Collection

Nothing translates summer like than Freeway’s chic and trendy summer collection. In this year’s edition, Freeway once again collaborated with designer Twinkle Ferraren for its hand-painted Tattoo Swimwear Summer 2011 Collection.



The most loved and everlasting form of art and expression is reinvented into something more wearable. Freeway’s Tattoo-Inspired Collection is striking and definitely hot!



Tattoo lovers can take their passion for the ink to the waves or just casually lounge pool side while looking stylish. The collection inspired by tribal and tropical tattoos includes mix of strong with vibrant colored statement, sporty, functional and active-wear inspired pieces and cover-ups.



Swimwears are mixed with mesh materials and tattoos printed on the suit, perfect for those who love to try new sports and activities in the beach. Twinkle describes the collection as “a modern and female version of the Pintados and tribes”.

I recieved a notice from the SWIM subscriber group that designer, Ianni Lane, is closing her store.  We've blogged SWIM several times over the year and a half the store has been around because Ianni does exceptional work and she is uber generous with monthly dollarbies, Midnight Manias, Lucky Chairs, Xstreet specials and hunt gifts.   SWIM is closing on September 12 and until then nothing is over 20 L.   Couples sets are 20 L (or 10L each).  There are several bundle packs for 5 - 10 L.  For current subscribers there are also member gift boxes stuffed full of unreleased swimsuits for both genders.  The catch is that it is for current members (at least 7 days) so you might be able to get them before the store closes but I make NO promises about that.  I can't even begin to imagine the texture upload costs on all that work, so I made sure to thank Ianni for her kindness and bought more swimsuits than my av will ever need.  This is not a sale that the guys should miss. Pregnant Summer

Thank heavens and whoever invented maternity swimwear! Now preggers don't have to look like tadpoles during summer and nothing (even a bulging 7 month tummy) can stop us from taking a nice relaxing dip!
