A Chic Pirate-Themed Birthday Party for Anya

Our little baby, my niece, Anya is all grown up and celebrated her 7th birthday in such style. I am now a fan of my sister Joni's Martha Stewart-like prowess in party planning. Anya's birthday has been in the works for several months and Joni collected different paraphernalia from ebay, physical shops, etc. to make the theme work well.



They even invited real and trained pirates (entertainers) for the party which was held in their home in Cragieburn, Australia.

I am sure Anya had an awesome time, I could feel it in her voice when she phoned me tonight :) And I am very proud of my sister, Anya's mommy, Joni. I am sure she has inspired me and other ladies on how to throw a great party whether for friends or family.

Valentines with Cockles & Tee*fy

With Valentines coming up, don't you just feel the luuurrveee in ze sl air?! Hee... I decided to do some looks circling around a few great items coming from Cockles and Tee*fy!

Azure Electricteeth and Xerras Azalee are both excellent bloggers and you can read more about their fashion musings on their blog Pombom! Recently though, both girls have taken a stab at creating in world and I must say I couldn't be happier for em! Not only are they really stylish they do have quite a great knack at making amazing pieces for in grid fashionistas to mix and match!

For this special Valentines occasion, both stores have come up with Valentines Day dollarbies. Xerras over at Cockles has put out this adorable version of her sweater that comes in both men and women sizes. So why not drop on by with your lover to get matching sweaters for the occasion? Azure at Tee*fy on the other hand specializes in gorgeous tights, so she has put out a heart printed legging for us! I particularly love the shade of pink she chose and this tights are so versatile it can definitely stay in your wardrobe till even after Valentines~

Aside from that, I also wanted to show some great item the girls are offering. Both stores carry gatcha machines and we all know what that means. Great prizes and great gifts for friends if you get double the items! Cockles has 12 (yes 12!) different shades of color of this amazing unisex sweater. It's 40L a try and the sweaters are packed in transferable boxes~ Tee*fy's gatcha carries polka dotted leggings in 7 different shades that can be used in so many occasions, the machine is just 30L a spin -- so worth it!

Crazy Dancing the Night Away~

Beetle Bones Creeping Up on Chu~

I'm taking a lil break from my hiatus to post in free*style ^^ *waves* hi hi~~
Suetabulous Yootz has been working hand in hand with me on content creation this whole month and she's been far more efficient than I can ever be. She finally opened this morning and I'm so darn proud of her *smooshes* So I decided I shall pimp out some of her stuff for you guys to check out!

Beetle Bones has just arrived in Creators Pavilion, her small selection of adorable casual wear including tank tops with amusing captions such as "shake my money tree" and cute little feminine dresses. She has 2 dresses up for freebie grabs and it's really versatile! I tried to show it in two different styles to show off it's versatility. The dress comes in a yellow and brown option which I styled with less add ons to show you how the dress looks, and there's a black and red one which I paired with Pink Outfitters cute Eva Turtleneck for a more elegant look.



Although those two dresses above are the freebies in her store, Suetabulous' creations are all under 200L and I think very worthy of blogging in free*style for those looking for a good bargain! For example, this babydoll dress called "Puffie Wolfie" (80L) can be worn in so many ways but I decided to go for simple chic with Periquita's chicky chic pumps and Donna Flora's gorgeous Cris Necklace.



Finally, the tank tops I was speaking about comes at a low price of 45L and Sue currently has 2 different prints. "Money Tree" comes in 2 colors and the "Seahorse Tanktop" comes in 3 colors, I'm sporting my favorite in coral! Her high waisted pants are by far my huge love from Beetle Bones, this comes in 4 different colors and are such gorgeous staples!

Cyanide is having a short hunt lasting from June 12 to June 14th -- an extremely short hunt, but there's still plenty of time for you to run over and grab some awesome goodies. There's 12 bags in total to search for and some bags have 2 items so plenty of gifts for you guys! I'm showcasing some great teasers of what you might be able to get from the hunt ^^ Hopefully it'll entice you to head down and participate!


This image shows what you need to be looking for. That tiny bag right there? Yeah that's been scattered all around the store -- there are similar bigger bags around which aren't the right ones. Swinging it Korean Style

OHHAI! Super happy to be sharing 2 great designers that are also close friends of mine. Both of them have recently went through tons of hard work to release brand new goodies and newly renovated or made main stores for you guys! So hope you enjoy these and drop on by to give them some lurvee....

UGLYDOROTHY's Sopha McCallen has been working hard to build her main store so that she no longer needs to get her customers to run back and forth from 2 different branches to get their skins. Her new main store is finally open with 2 brand new skin lines "Emma" and "Marienne" (Marienne comes in 2 different skin shades). With her opening, Sopha sent out a group gift to her members and if you'd like to have it -- feel free to tp down to Uglydorothy and click on the Join Group sign to the left! I'm wearing them in the pictures below and boy is it gorgeous! The word tattooed on the cheek is "Love" in Korean -- showing Sopha's love to her group members and fans!





Another great friend of both Sopha and Me is AllepEver Weledniker from Allep Jeans who I have featured before in my first post over at Free*style. Recenly Allep has been refurnishing his store trying to make more items rather than only jeans. I'm proud to say the tank tops and the accessories there are just to lust for! He put out 3 lucky stands outside his store and cheaper jeans outside as well. Below, I'm modeling some of the bikini tops you can win from his lucky stands, plus some of the jeans from Allep Jeans! Today I've got a lil treat for you guys! I found some lovely shops that carries cheapies and freebies that everyone should definitely check out! Some of these shops have been blogged in free*style but not the same items and reeaally long time ago so *squee*

First of, you'll notice I'm wearing a tanner skin that I haven't worn before -- this is a 1L skin from Nah! If you're a big fan of sl photography, the sim in which Nah! is at will definitely bring you oodles of excitement! It's somewhat dark and romantic, with the rain pouring down and soft glows from the little shops around. Nah! has several items out for grabs and this skin is available in a lighter tone for a mere 5L! The other clothes around the store are also 5L for a complete set. This grey dress and vest is an example of the beautiful cheapies you can get in this store~



Next up is yet another adorable store that sells a whole bunch of incredibly affordable goodies! Oyakin has 2 gift bags for grabs and one of them contain tights in grey and ivory (shown below), and the other gift bag contains pants and camis. I'm wearing one of their adorable tunics which can be worn as a poofy dress, a slightly more elegantly shaped flare or a cami like what I did. This tunic is really affordable, so as their other items. They have a pose set up for grabs for 10L, some super cute pants (with many different wearing options) for 80L (fatpacks are 250L with 3 colors!)... Just stunning quality items that you guys can oogle over~



Finally, this last set features an adorable skirt from NINIKO that is a gift from Kae to all of you great people. Her store has recently opened and carries tons of adorable staples ranging from tights, jeans, and sculpted jackets! I love this store so much and was thrilled to find this brand new skirt where she offers 1 color as a gift. The socks are one way to wear Oyakin 's knit socks -- which are mostly sold in packs of 2 for 30L, but this one is sold individually for 15L. The tank is not free, but from the very fabulous new store foam! that also carries this newly released hair ^^



This last shot, I must apologize could have been done better... but this features 2 adorable accessories I sport in all 3 looks but I wanted a more close up version of their prettiness! :::::::Gabriel::::::: is a store that carries tons of accessories; this flower ring and hair accessory are gifts for all their customers and it's simply prettiful!

Sopha McCallen the owner of UGLYDOROTHY has just released a brand new skin line by the name of "Anya". I've been a big fan of Sopha ever since her first release and those who read my blog have probably noticed her skins are my most worn skins... I love her dearly both as a friend and creator so I was just super honored when she said the name was inspired by me ^^

Sopha has an UGLYDOROTHY group for you to join for updates and such -- she frequently gives out free skins for her group members and upon releasing this new line, she did the same!




"Clown" is the name of the group skin, it has little star tattoos on the face which Sopha thinks add a nice unique touch to the skin. This is a version of Anya that you can have as both a present from Sopha, and also a way for you to try out her new skins! Sopha reworked her old bodies for a more realistic effect and I can tell you I'm definitely thrilled by how great they look!

Clown is only available in limited amounts (last time I checked 113/290 have been taken) and you have to be in her group to take the skin. So hurry down to UGLYDOROTHY and grab one~

I found this adorable chinese styled dress from Lika Ruby ~ This dress is their grand opening gift, so you can grab it completely free! This dress features interesting geometric patterns to make this antique elegant style a little more modern. Two little ribbons hang on the sides, this dress comes in 2 lengths -- which always gives one more options! There's different versions of this dress in other detailed ornate designs for 120L! Lika Ruby also carries 2 different sorts of bottoms -- Line pants for just 25L and leggings with ruffles for 50L! Great prices and some interesting new designs! I paired this dress up with a new release from JUNWAVE, a little bun style hair! It's not free but so worth the promotion!



Next up, I found this great store called Magi Take! This store has been blogged before on Free*Style but some of these pieces have not been, namely the overalls, leg warmers and shoes~ All of these are under 20L! These may not be freebies, but the entire store has individual pieces marked under 20L that it's really hard to pass if you love getting some cheaper quality items! The hair comes from W&Y which is having a 50L sale right now, which means all their hair will be going for simply 50L! I love hair with buns, and I just had to have this style!



Within this look, I sport a myriad of accessories -- I wanna give special mention to these from !SyDS! This store carries several really interesting rings for 50L but the pieces I'm wearing are at the cheap price of 1L How adorable are they?

Domestic V's Biggest Sale Ever!

Apologies for bad photos and not many photos! Domestic V is having their "biggest sale of the year" Not a freebie but there's a huge gift box in their store that's costing 500L and before you click away thinking that's NOT a sale -- there's a 100 skin within this box -- which means each skin cost 5L! (omg... bad math -- i wrote 50L at first; *dies in hole* lol thank you winter!) All these are brand new skins too! The box also includes shapes, brows and some undergarments. Beware; this sale only last till May 3rd 3am -- and after that this box will still be available but for 2000L! I looked through and there's tons of skin tones from fair to dark, to goth... pure... to classic -- if you love these, you're all set for the entire year ^^"

GAIA is the place to go~

Oh hai~~ Anya Ohmai here reporting for duty! I'm honored to be invited over to Free*Style as one of their guest bloggers! Freebies are important and oh so fun to every wardrobe -- but finding interesting quality ones can be a feat. Free*Style has provided me with tons of freebies to choose from when I was starting out in SL, so I wish to give back now by showing you guys some of my own finds! (Beware! I write long!)

During one of those random explorations around SL, I found this nice little Japanese sim called GAIA that houses tons of unique places ranging from furniture to piercing to... little dolls! I'll be featuring some of the freebies I found there and some others I have compiled these past few days.

The first freebie is this adorable skin from BANILACOCO skins! If you ever read my blog at oh my ohmai, you'd probably already figured I love Asian styled skins and well, any skins in general. BANILACOCO is a tiny shop holding only 3 skins thus far, plus 1 extra as a gift to all of you adorable people. This skin has lipstick marks on the cheek and a "I love COCO" tattoo on the chest. I absolutely heart the lips and eyes, and if you zoom in real close in world, you'd notice how gorgeous the brows have been done!

Instead of featuring this skin in the nude, I put on some adorable freebie clothes too! Bra comes from Attitudes where every season, they have a new set of freebie lingerie -- Attitudes is a gorgeous lingerie shop and every piece is made with such care and sophistication. My adorable undies comes from Balaclava a menswear store -- where everything goes for cheap cheap! This red pair isn't free, but they have put out a yellow one as demo which is free for takes. *whistles* girls can wear mens briefs too! Especially if they're this adorable! Socks comes from en Svale (freebie with more colors to pick from!), en Svale is a cute little store with unique soft clothes. I suggest you guys head down and take a look, because you will definitely walk out with a treasure or two. Then comes the hair, which isn't free but oh so cheap from ROGE! Ding tped me and Tomoyo over for lucky board wins -- every single hair has a fatpack that's less than 200L! What a steal for such adorable styles! Finallllyyyy~~ see that little doll soaking in a bath of hot coffee?! HOW ADORABLE! This comes from Little Girl's Doll House which is also located in GAIA... I explain in detail below~

Yes! In my next look, I'm show casing some of the adorable Little Girl Dolls you can get from that store. Little tiny dolls sit on your head, shoulder or perhaps in little cups or hovering around with in a flying fox sorta thing. All these aren't free but the store has tons of hunt gifts out and every doll is priced below 100L -- which is a steal looking at how adorable they are!

My pants are lucky stand gifts from Allep -- a store featuring amazing realistic jeans. The creator is currently in the midst of expanding her store, creating not only jeans but awesome clothes! I've spoken to him and got a little teaser of what will come up ~ trust me, you do not want to miss! This adorable red shirt is a unisex gift from [ insert cool name ] -- a new little store in cupcakes. The store carries wide unique crazy shirt; my favorite being a vandalized I HEART NY tee (been vandalized to say I HEART MY MUM hee). Finally, see that adorable bob hair?! It's not free but it's a little teaser being sent out to let you guys know about this brand called idk a collaboration between Esme Michigan (from Uncle Wiggily) and Chav Paderborn! The official brand opens tomorrow May 2nd at 11am SLT @ this LM. There will be tons of freebies and new stuff so head on down tomorrow! ^^
