The Adventures of Miss Crabtree, Chapter 1

Miss Crabtree timidly stood at the door of Mr. Shuffle's office.  Being the new girl in the steno pool,  she was eager to impress her boss with her skills.  The other girls twittered amongst themselves when they got word that Miss Crabtree was already being called to their boss's office, though a few others glared.  She had recently moved to the city from her family's home in Poughkeepsie to begin acting school and she really needed this job.  Mother had warned her that there the big city was no place for a single girl but Miss Crabtree was determined to succeed and become a star, like her idol Grace Kelly.  Anxiously she knocked on her boss's door and waited.  "Please come in, Miss Crabtree", he said in an authoritarian voice.  Mr. Shuffle sat at his desk smoking a fine Cuban cigar.  Behind him was a view of downtown as well as photos of his family.  She stood there paper and pen ready, waiting for him to ask her to sit and begin work.  "Now come closer, Miss Crabtree...".

Details:
Outfit: Baby Monkey.  The perfectly crafted pencil skirt is a group gift to Baby Monkey members.  Hours were spent creating multiple layers and lining up the seams.  Other colors as well as a belted style are available for a meager 50 L.  The pink blouse is free as a picks reward.  The argyle top is one of 3 available to all.  The new Sasha shoes are a dream.  Not free but menu driven for color change of shoe, heel/base, toenail options.  I am so impressed with the new line so please check it out.

Baby, It's Cold Outside!

Good thing we have yummy winter freebies to keep us warm. And another good thing is that exposed legs don't get cold in SL. Heh. This dress from So many Styles is a freebie under the Xmas tree. It actually comes with a really awesome big sweater collar but I am not wearing it in this picture because I wanted to wear my new hair from Sixty Nine that I am addicted to!

See? Awesome. Group gift. It can be worn with earmuffs, a Santa hat, a Rudolph nose (all of these color change!), or none at all. The skin I have on is the new profile picks gift from [PXL]. It's so pretty! On a side note, I look EXACTLY like one of my RL cousins with this skin in and it's kind of creeping me out o.O

The boots are a group gift from NC+. They quality is just awesome and so worth the grab! There is a nice pendant gift there too for those of you into jewelry collecting.

Attack of the Holiday Spirit, Episode 2

Ah yes. More red and green for you my loves.I'm feeling the Christmas love. I used to be a total Grinch, but I think being a mom has made me appreciate the holidays much more. Seeing the little buddies all excited about the tree and the lights and the shiny wrapping paper just makes my heart melt. I might not look as awesome decorating the tree as my av does, and I certainly wouldn't be holding glass balls in my mouth (trying not to make dirty joke) but it's still fun anyway.
Aren't these shoes from Love Soul adorable?! I want some non-Christmas ones with like a cat-bat of doom clinging on instead of reindeer. CAT-BATS SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH.
This is my favorite tree I have seen in SL so far. Something about it is just kitschy classic. And the little tree skirt. Fabulous!

I Can Haz Cute?

AHA!!! There you are! It's time for another post from one of my alts so have a seat. This is my only TRUE alt, my other me, Xonx. She likes cute stuffs. So be prepared for some girly and sweet! OH WAIT! I have something for guys too. But it's still kind of girly looking because SilenHE is a girly man. Anyway, enough jibber jabber and on to the goodies.
If you have room in you group slots I would reccomend adding Parallel Love. This store is very generous with the gifties, and even their regular priced items fall in the 10L-50L range for the most part. And they are super cute. So that's good. And of course you need some fabulous hair and accessories! And no freebie post these days is complete without some sort of hunt reference, am I right? Haha. So this should fill your gaping void. The fabulous creator behind Sanu has been having some RL issues and has been away for a while. We wish her the super best!! But for now she has set us up with a cute mini quest. This is not a regualr hunt. You buy the carrot for 0L on the mailbox and read the story. The story will lead you to different carrots which you will buy for 1L each. In the end you get all three pieces of carrot jewelry, as well as an adorable tale. It's pretty easy and lots of fun. Carrot Jewelry: Sanu quest prizes, 1L each piece.

And finally, a guy bit. (I accidently typed "guy butt" at first which was funny but not true.) If you go to this awesome shopping center on the Brackish sim and add them to your picks you can get fairly frequent picks rewards prizes (changes every couple months or so). Right now there is a pretty necklace and this male skin! The skin is by Little Bird, whom I usually know for their female skins, but this skin was too good not to get even if I don't generally play a male av. And no, I wasn't making out with myself, the kiss mark is part of the skin ;D

OK! Got some stuff. Yep. The next few posts I am going to make are going to be from my alts! Yay! They have been neglected and when I checked on them there were some nice fun surprises.
