Mix and Match Skins Gift!

If you join the Mix and Match update group you will be happy. Very happy. It is 100L to join...but right now there are NINE free, high quality skins for the group :O

The latest set is the Bonita line. The glossiness and rosy cheeks are up to par with some of the best skin makers around (not to mention much more affordable :P) The group skins have a lovely gem headband painted onto the skin, as you can see in the photos.

The other six skins are from the recently released Sorriso line, which I previewed a while back around Halloween time. One set has the pretty gem headband....

...The other set has adorable bandages on the nose! These skins, as you can see, have teeth painted right on them and won't fit every mouth shape, but thankfully Manis gives her mouth shape stats out for those who don't look right in them.

Ahoy!!

The Black Market Pirate Union is having a hunt! Some of the best stores in SL have mini shops here with free, cheap, and exclusive items. Adding a hunt on top of that is just getting to have pumpkin AND pecan pie for Thanksgiving dessert. Yum!

The prizes made me feel really giddy and childlike. Lots of color and ruffles and good ideas found in these items.

To claim the prizes go to the area and look around for pumpkins. When you click a pumpkin it will give you a question with three possible answers. The questions are all spooky/Halloween type questions and are really fun. To answer you just type /8 followed by either a, b, or c, whichever you think is the correct answer.

Beware of answering questions on two different pumpkins that are close together, I have discovered; if the first pumpkin you answered on hasn't "timed out" it will still hear you trying to answer the second pumpkin's questions and you will end up getting multiples of the same gift. I think I ended up with like four birdhouses, lol. There are lots of prizes to be found, apparently there are more that just weren't out yet when I started hunting. I have a tendency to jump the gun when I see names like Sugarcube, Ohmai!, Bettelbones, etc. :PBlack Market Freebies:

The Lonely Housewife

She stopped her flow of tears with sheer will and a cocaine rush and leaned against the baby blue refrigerator. A photo of her daughter's recent obsession stared back at her with glistening puppy dog eyes and gave her a small shock of feeling to her ignored nether bits. The feeling was brief like all feelings these days; better to remain cold as stone for stone is not easily shattered.

She stands upright and smooths her skirt, walking towards the impeccably clean sink to begin dinner's preparation. She sees the knife and briefly entertains dark thoughts and thus turns away to prevent them from multiplying. Wiping the tears from her eyes she takes a deep breath and remembers what needs to be done. It's all for the child, all for the child.
