From our make-shift photobooth to yours, happy new year!

Our party was a success with everyone wearing red. Indeed fashion makes the world a happier place! I am wearing the Kashieca red dress I got for just Php350 ++ during their sale.

Meanwhile, my New Year's Eve date is wearing a red & geeky Optimus Prime shirt from Transformers. He's got lots of these funny cute shirts, including fish t shirts and Pets T Shirt. His hat is from a street vendor, I got it for Php20 for my 7 month old.

Me and my sister have matching outfits, actually we bought the same dress. It made me look pregnant though haha :) My headband is a pink hello kitty crown from Marcella's, at Php 85++.

Now I know the makings of a fun yet practical New Year's Eve home party: Lechon, costumes, hats, photobooth, and lots of party poppers!

A Wee Bit O' Refreshment Never Hurt Anybody (Happy New Years Y'All)!

This New Year's Eve, Creamy, Gavin + I ran into a good old new friend: a certain Mr. Jose. Cuervo.
Here we are enjoying the "liquid gold" tastiness at Kitchen Korner (click on the maid to get these free tequila shots, complete with lime, salt licking + dazed look animation). That's Dame Creamy on the right (note the excellent "slugger arm" technique) + our friend Brainy Toe lurking in the corner (not really his name; it was "Brain" appendage something, but we were all pretty zonged at this point).

As you can see, Gavin appears to have smelled something questionable here (it wasn't me, I swear). *silently points to Brainy Toe*

Catching Up on Medical Series | Grey's Anatomy

Spending New Year with my favorite doctors!

Today I'm pretending to be on vacation mode and want to be a couch potato transfixed on cable TV. I missed a lot of episodes from my favorite medical drama series, Grey's Anatomy, now running on their 8th Season in the US.


I am missing the stars on cotton nursing scrubs especially Dr. Shepherd, not so much Meredith Grey haha. The picture above is from Season 3, notice the cast (TR Knight) whom they killed on the series is still there.



I also missed this scene, Phelps meets McSteamy who makes body scrubs for men look h.o.t.t. The last episodes I watched were from Season 7, before the season finale. So much for being a workaholic.

I've been asking about digital boxes for our TV so I can record episodes and TV shows, I heard they're a bit expensive though (especially if you'll provide a box for each of your TV sets). My agenda is to grab a DVD copy of the series and have a Grey's Anatomy marathon (and their gorgeous nurses in uniforms) while waiting for midnight.

I've Had an Elegant Epiphany

Elegant Epiphany has some gorgeous lipsticks on their MM board. I have found that they fit well with a lot of skins which makes me very happy.

I am not showing all of the options that come with the prize because there are so many! The MM board is group only and doesn't hold very many people at a time which is a drag but if you don't want to wait for the MM board the huge pack of lipsticks is only 230L (a great deal for all the options.) The final lipstick is a nice, matte version which isn't one of the MM board prizes but is only 5L. Woo! Lots of other good deals and freebies in the store as well.

Aw, Rob & Kristen Take Mackenzie Bowling - Cuuute!

It was family fun night at casa del Cullen last weekend...

According to @NessieMackenzie, Rob and Kristen took time from filming Breaking Dawn down in Baton Rouge to play happy families with Mackenzie and bond over bowling - cute :)

I hope they put those blue sausage things in the gutters - no way any 10 year old is knocking down pins without having mad vampire skillz!

Fashion: Dressing Up for New Year 2011

Just 3 more days to go and 2010 will be two thousand and late. It's just recently I learned the value of being "dressed for the occasion". I've taken this to heart not just for fancy pictures but for the fun of it.
