Mama & Papa Pattz Visiting Vancouver!

Apparently Rob's parents, Richard and Clare have been seen out and about in downtown Vancouver!

Heather over at PattinsonLife spotted them and posted:
"His Mom and Dad just happened to walk up close behind me and ask the counter clerk if they had anything soothing since she happened to have a cold. Something was said about how long they were in town and the answer was 'just 3 days'.
His parents by the way- seem to be totally in love- his Dad had his arm gently resting against his wife's waist the majority of the time they were walking outside, and I easily got the impression in the shop that he dotes on his wife with a huge amount of warmth and affection. (he does seem like a sweet Dad to have!).
I also got the impression that she is the one who wears the pants in the family- lol, but in a polite "I'm a woman, of course I should be treated as a queen" kind of a way and duh! I think she's got that right. ;) And they were of course, both very polite. (They're English lol)"
I reviewed a Lizzie Pattinson show in London last summerand had a good old natter with both Clare and Richard who were there supporting their daughter.

They're both suuuper friendly - I chatted with them both for over an hour (whilst putting away a glass of wine or five).

Clare was insistent she knew me from somewhere (even to the extent that she text a friend in Arizona to ask if she knew my Mum), lol!

When I complimented them on Lizzie's talent, Dick was sweet enough to say "our son's doing very well also" - bless you, Papa Pattz *hearts*

Lizzy Pattinson London Gig Review

So you may remember the Lizzy Pattinson show I mentioned last week...

Well, I wrote a review that got posted on music site The Ruckus, who previously interviewed Bobby Long, Marcus Foster and Sam Bradley as well as hosting Jamie Campbell Bower's Darling Buds gig!

Here's an except:
Under a spotlight, in a dim club in west London, Lizzy Pattinson takes the stage. The wooden paneled Regal Room sits above a Victorian bar is filled with candle lit cabaret style tables crowded over by curious listeners...

With her parents watching proudly from the audience, Lizzy announces her next song having “written it with my brother”, the yearning 'Hands'. You could be forgiven for thinking she will break into a rendition of Dusty Springfield’s 'Fever' and still make it sound like you’ve never heard it before.
Please leave some love and read the rest of my write up - and see pics and video from the night - HERE

New Rob Video - Songs From A Swoon, er... Room ;)

Updated with more footage video:

Apparently this was recorded in London for a series called "Songs From A Room" where musicians literally record impromptu sets in living rooms. Who knew?

I wish he was still able to play in public *sigh* so good!

Coincidentally, I just got back from my first Lizzy Pattinson gig. Um... her voice is uh-mazing! Check her out - for serious!

Here's a snippet of her performance tonight at The Regal Room - the song is called "Hands" which she introduced by saying "I wrote this with my brother" - enjoy ;)

Scoot to 25.ish for Lizzy's second set and my *fave* song of the night "Since I Fell For You" at 30.ish :)

P.s. See that dark mass of hair to the right by Lizzy's leg? That would be me *waves*
